Procedural Responsibilities: None

Supervisory Responsibilities: First contact all tech inquiries throughout shift

Consultant Responsibilities: First contact Ward, Emerg, Off-site inquiries throughout shift

Batch Readout Recommendations

Understanding with Emergency department is that batch readouts for less urgent cases should aim to clear the list at the following times.

Mon-Thurs: 1:30am, 4am

Fri: 1:30am, 4am, 6am

Technologists are instructed to call the radiologist with any more urgent cases when available for reporting

Please setup a filter that includes studies from Cowichan Hospital, as we only cover this site from 10pm – 8am. Their ED staff know about our batch reporting policy.
